Roman spear tip

A Roman spearhead typically consisted of a long, pointed blade made of iron or bronze that was attached to a wooden shaft. The blade was usually triangular or leaf-shaped, with a sharp point at one end and a wider base at the other. The base of the spearhead was often tapered to fit into a socket or ferrule on the end of the shaft. This one is a little unique in the way that its almost a cross between an arrow tip and a spear head.
