Roman Imperial Coin

Roman Imperial coins were coins issued by the Roman Empire from the reign of Augustus to the fall of the Western Roman Empire in 476 CE. They were made of gold, silver, and bronze, and typically depicted the emperor's bust, with the reverse side often including an image of the goddess Victory. Many of these coins also featured Latin inscriptions that provided details about the emperor and the date the coin was issued. Roman imperial coins are of great historical and archaeological importance, as they provide a valuable insight into the culture, economy, and politics of the Roman Empire.
